The book has no substance to it. The H spanks for every little reason. I wonder how he will feel if the spanking would be reversed on him. It look like the author wanted to write about the joys of spanking so she build the story around it.Product details

I've read a number of Chula Stone's books and never been disappointed, you won't be either. Sophia and Spencer are both likable but were an unlikely pair as Sophia had run her father's home but never thought to marry and have a family of her own. The character and plot development was great. I hope there is a sequel where we see more if their relationship and a story for the secondary characters.
I really enjoyed this story! I started to read and felt an instant connection with Sophia's character. She has always been the "problem fixer" of her family and in an era of a male dominated society, this was not an easy thing to do. She had pretty much given up on a marriage and family of her own and had embraced, at least on the surface, her spinsterhood. I just love that her life ended up on a completely different path. This is a nice romantic story, not heavy on sex, with some spanking and some characters that I would happily visit again in another story. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
